NFL-Profi Calvin Ridley from the Atlanta Falcons is locked for bets on lots of the US football league until the end of the season 2022. This shared Ligaboss Roger Goodell on Monday. Accordingly, Ridley should have bet on NFL lots for five days over the year.
According to the league, the 27-year-old wide receiver should not use insider information, nor to manipulate games. Trainers, teammates or opposing players should not know anything about his activities.
"Her actions have endangered the integrity of the game, damaging the public's confidence in professional football and may undermine the reputation of their players throughout the NFL," GooDell wrote in an open letter to Ridley. The betting on NFL games has been "as one of the most serious violations of the league policy" for decades.
Ridley, who last season only five games for the Falcons and left the team at the end of October because of mental health problems, have worked together with the investigators and admit his misconduct. He may submit an application for his return at the earliest on 15 February 2023.
